TRADE NEWS!!!

Jason Chimera to Washington for Milan Jurcina and Chris Clark.

I approve. Never did like Chimmer much. I also have had a bit of a soft spot for Clark, and apparently he's related to me in some obscure way. (not that that's too important) Anyways, he'll provide some Vetran leadership on and off the ice, and some scoring. (more so than Chimera, IMO). Milan Jurcina is excellent. I hated him sometimes in the PenCap series, for messing with my Penguins, which means that he's good defensively. These two players will not be the solution however. We still have a long way to go, but, this is an OK indication of success in the future.

Not-So-Happy Holidays.

2 wins in our last 18 games is unacceptable.
I'm at the point where my spirit is broken completely.

Monday, December 14, 2009

BRING BACK NIKITA!

kk, this is getting ridiculous.

no effort whatsoever. just going through the motions.
i'm so dissapointed in ALL of them, i can't even begin.
they are quite literally breaking my heart.

Jackets..I beg of you....win.

Sunday, December 13, 2009

Boo.

hey, hey JACKETS.

i'd like to introduce something to you.
it's called EFFORT.
maybe if you had some, you might,
i dunno, WIN SOME GAMES.

hey, hey HITCHCOCK.

i'd like to introduce something to you.
it's called a DIET.
maybe if you lost a few pounds,
you might, i dunno,
BE A BETTER COACH.

YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT EFFORT'S TWIN SISTER IS CALLED?

DETERMINATION.
GET SOME BITCHES.

I'M DONE WITH YOU.

a letter to the CBJ defense.

dear Methot/Russell/Commodore/Hedja/Roy/Stralman,

ok boys. Stevey had an excellent night on Wednesday, now it's time for you guys to STEP IT UP.
no turnovers.
deflect shots.
BLOCK THEM IF YOU HAVE TO.
you're all ugly anyways, so it's not like it'll matter if you have a broken nose. (jks.)
Mason needs support, and you are not giving to him! don't just stand there as the other team skates in and starts taking shots. you are all to blame. Mase might not be having a good season, BUT NEITHER ARE YOU. STEP IT UP.
(my tough love approach.)

I do love all of you, so it frustrates me to no end that you guys were amazing defensivly last year... NOW THIS? wake up and smell that rubber puck! IMPROVE, OR I WILL KICK YOUR ASSES.

If you feel so empty
So used up so let down
If you feel so angry
So ripped off so stepped on
You're not the only one
Refusing to back down
You're not the only one
So get up!

Let's start a riot, a riot

if you feel so filthy so dirty so fucked up
If you feel so walked on
So painful so pissed off
You're not the only one
Refusing to go down
You're not the only one
So get up!

Let's start a riot, a riot

-a nice "vengeance will be ours" type of song.

AJO.

Lee for Filatov?

HELL NO.

why I think this would be bad:

-Jackets need offense. HELLO, we only have a couple players with huge offensive upsides
(Nash, Huselius)
-we have enough defense. even with Klesla out, we've got plenty of goons in Syracuse who can step up and fill in.
-have i mentioned we need offense? like a lot? we cannot rely on Torres, Chimera, Boll, Dorsett, and the likes to score the points! the truth is, we've got one line that produces most of our points, with the rest of the checkers jumping in once and a while with a goal or two.

bottom line:

I love Brian Lee, that's no surprise to you, but I don't think he would be a good fit for Columbus at this point, and Ottawa has made it clear that they don't want him. the only way I would consent this trade is if Filatov were NOT part of the deal. he will be a huge asset for us one day, as soon as Hitchcock removes that stick out of his ass.

I DO NOT LIKE THIS TRADE IDEA.

When you Believe.

Many nights we've prayed with no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hopeful song
We barely understood
Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains
Long before we ever knew we could
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail It's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe

Blue Jackets GAME DAY TIME!
I BELIEVE!
Carryin' the Flag until my arms are weak.
Screamin' GO JACKETS GO until it's hard to speak.
that is what I do,
to show that I love you,
so march on into Nashville, and give them a POUNDING.

a letter to Rick Nash.

kk, see if this will work again (:

-----------

Dear Rick,

I love you. so very much. because of that, it saddens me to see you, our STAR PLAYER, in a bit of a slump. we alll know you are capable of more production. you, along with Mase, are kinda like our only hopes. if neither of you are performing to your A games, we are virtually screwed.

it saddens me to see that you haven't scored in your last 10 games, because i know you can! you were off to a career year, and BAM. you hit a road block. you'll get over this, you'll become the perrenial point producer that all us CBJ fans have come to worship, I have my faith.
nobody can ever blame you for a lack of effort. ;)

So give me something to believe
Cause I am living just to breath
And I need something more
To keep on breathing for
So give me something to believe

it worked..

buuuuttt, I'm still not entirely convinced.

STEVE MASON WITH HIS FIRST SHUTOUT OF THE SEASON!!!
AWWWWWWW YEEEEEAAAAAAAAA!.

imma need a few more wins before i can truly be at ease though.
good game Jackets, way to be (:

AJO.

ps. hmm, maybe i should start writing some more letters to my Jackets.?

Kk, Rick, you're next.

a letter to Steve Mason.

ok, so the Blue Jackets play the Panthers tonight, I am scared. I'll just write a quick public letter to Stevey and then I'll go pray. ;)

-----

Steve,

what's up with you buddy? we're on the skid of doom right now, you look nothing like your super self from last year. as much as i hate to say it, our team depends on you. like, a lot. if you don't play well, the team loses. i don't like putting pressure on you, but you have to get better! i love you, Mase, and i think you're amazing, but you have to step it up.

i'll be very blunt about it: you are playing like shit this year. horrible. it's like you can't save anything. i used to watch you play, and everytime a shot was taken, i was calm. i knew you had it. now, i FREAK OUT. i cringe and close my eyes. that's how bad you are. a save % in the .800s, is not a good accomplishment. neither is a GAA above 2. YOU HAVE TO IMPROVE. i cannot stress this enough.

i know this sentiment is echoed by a lot of Blue Jackets fans, and we have every right to be pissed at you. sometimes, it isn't your fault, sometimes it's the defense. but they can't be solely blamed for the path the Jackets are descending right now. we can't blame all of our problems on you. it's the whole team. we HAVE to fix this.

Mase, I BELIEVE IN YOU. know that. i trust you to stop that puck. you break my heart, but I will stand by you. you are MY goalie, and I will cheer for you, I will support you until you're gone.

even when the thunder and storm begins,
you'll be standing strong like a tree in the wind.
nothing's gonna move this mountain, or change my direction.
you're falling out sky and you're all alone.
the courage that's inside's gonna break your fall.
nothin's gonna dim your light within.

but if you keep holdin on, it will never be impossible
'cause you give me somethin
to believe in, mission to keep climbing
nothing else can stop us if we just believe.

and I believe in you.

-love, Sars.

Tears.

i was just reading some of my earlier posts.
GODDAMIT. we were off to such a good start.
everything was going well,
now we're in Hockey hell.
:(

is it even worth it anymore?

long time no post.
blame my lame ass teachers and their tests every week, blame freaking Dio and Mike, and really, with the Blue Jackets craaping out like they are right now, what the hell is the point?!

we've lost 8 of 9 games down the stretch, and if there's ever a time to push the panic button, it's NOW. something has to be done. we are playing like shit. no heart, no passion. Steve, would is be too difficult to, oh i dunno, STOP THE PUCK?! is that REALLY TO MUCH TO ASK????? and defense, really? the Jackets have the worst goals against in the league right now. turnovers galore. HITCHCOCKKKKK :@! my so called "defensive hockey" . oh yeaaaahhh, YOU'RE REALLY BEING SMART WITH THE PUCK NOW BOYS!

the game against the Avalanche last night was brutal. WE CAN'T EVEN SCORE UNLESS THE OTHER TEAM HELPS US TO PUT IT IN. what the hell is happening. RICK NASH, one goal in your last eight games. it's breaking my heart. there's nothing worth cheering for. if this goes on any longer i'm abandoning all hope.

SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE.

-----

kk, also on another note, the Sens are also stinking up the west coast. lovely. even my fallback boys are fucking up.

and also, Nikita Filatov, 12 points in 6 KHL games. WHYYYYY HOCKEY GODS??? :(

-----

umm, some happier notes in the hockey world:

-Backie had a 4 point game last night as the Caps steamrolled the Flyers. sucks for their new coach, eh? as much as I love Washington, sometimes the score gets TOO harsh. poor tresemme.

-the Blue Jackets vs. Columbus game was awesome, even if we lost. I was sitting in what seemed to be a very Jacket oriented section, although i was the only one who jumped up and clapped when my boys scored. Mase put on a show that night, I was quite impressed with his performance. I got heckled when the game finished. it's kind of amusing cheering for the road team.

-Ovie got suspended. it's about time! jesus, you can't initiate a knee on knee hit and expect to get away with it, i don't care who you are, you shouldn't get superstar treatment you dirty ape. -.-

-LMFAOLMFAO, Keith Ballard. SUCKS TO BE YOU MAN. xD freaking almost decapitate your goalie, you don't even notice, and you raise your stick up for another swing! if I were you, I would move to Russia.

anyways, the Sens are playing tonight, I am expecting a win, because if they do not beat Anaheim then they should just hide under a bus for the rest of their shitty NHL careers. that's what you get when you send BRIAN LEE down! :( anyone notice that they haven't won a SINGLE game since they shipped him off to Bingo and hauled up Erik??

Jackets don't play again til Wednesday. I'm at the point where I dread Columbus game days.
I feel a Hitch revolt coming on. (or gathering steam)

Filatov to Russia.

f.m.l.

Nikita Filatov has been loaned to CSKA of the Russian KHL.
ohmygod. wow.

well this is just shit.
what is the purpose of this???? if Filatov is seriously going to Russia,
HE WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO NORTH AMERICA. i don't care how much he said he wanted to play in the NHL, but come on. it's his homeland. he knows people there, he speaks the language, he'll forsure make more money, why would he come back???

thats it. it's over. done deal.
HE'S GONE.

just because 'he didn't adapt to hitchcock's defensive game'. SO FUCKING WHAT?
there are plenty of players in the NHL who are only good for offense, alexander ovechkin for one, how many times has he had a good defensive play? (besides slaughtering people into the boards)
Huselius is terrible a defense, yet we keep him around. I don't think having ONE offensive dynamo will ruin a team. we can't rely on guys like Dorsett, Boll, Murray and Chimera to get us the points, WE NEED SOME OFFENSE!

i wouldn't say we're screwed without Filatov, but our prospect pool just got worse, for sure. Look at the Crunch line-up. see any valuable offensive powerhouses? no. the Crunch are full of checkers, hitters, 4th liners and the likes. Sorry, Crunchers, I love you and all, but I really can't see any of you joining the bigsquad anytime soon. except maybe Picard. MAYBE.

ok well i could continue ranting all night, but i think i need to go cool off.
I am SO pissed.

AJO.

Raffi Twins xD

BAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

XD.

Clowns on Ice.

wow, Jackets. that game against the Wangs made me want to gouge my eyes out.
i almost broke the tv, i was throwing so many objects at it.
SHAME TO YOU ALL! Hitchcock, will you please explain as to why you let Mason go back in nets after letting in those first goals of the game? like Jesus, let Garon play, he was doing alright,
somewhat. the team in front of either goalies didn't help the situation much.
good thing nobody was around whilst i was watching the game, because i was in the mood to cause physical pain to someone, preferably a red wing.

--

BRIAN LEE SCORED AGAIN! MY MAN IS ON FIYAH! that honestly cheers me up incredibly. I freaking LOVE Brian Lee. omg, i feel like shouting it out: Brian, I Love you!!!!!!!<33> If you get sent down to Bingo and that retard Picard stays, SOMEONE WILL BE CRUCIFIED.

--

the Syracuse Crunch game was awesome, even if they lost. Babsa said she got us better tickets, but I swear to you, we only got closer to the ice by a freaking row. I got to go down and gawk at the players again, which was awesome. Dylan Reese is really attractive. <3
the fans are BEASTLY over there. they never shut up! this one guy kept yelling 'FIRE' overandoverandover and my family was almost dying laughing. and big sexy is just amazing, heh. you Crunchers shall know what i talk about ;)

shopping was excellent too. i got 13 shirts in total, half oof which were supposed to be for christmas but my mom let me pick them out so i would've already known what i was gonna get. but yeah. i got 4 tops from Old Navy, one from Aerie, 6 from Hollister, and 2 from Abercrombie.
<3 good times.

3rd in the west! .

yes, we are rocking it in November, thankyouverymuch.
ahem, RAFFI TORRES! where have you come from?!
8 goals already this season? wowzers, we're off to a fine pace! (:
Nash is obviously leading the team in scoring with 11 goals, 11 assists, and 22 points.
Nikita scored last night, as did Jared Boll-a rarity-and of COURSE I was at a stupid dinner with
my stupid family. GOD DAMMIT!
and I am also a tad ticked with Mase, his GAA and Save % could be much, much better.
STEP IT UP BOY! NO SOPHMORE SLUMPS ALLOWED.
Stralman and Pahlsson are nice additions to the squad and such.

---

some Sens notes:

Milan Michalek, you are officially my hero. sorry Rick, but for the moment you have been replaced. i mean, talk about beastly. EVERY TIME he is on the ice, he makes his presence known, unlike a CERTAIN SOMEONE-coughHEATLEYcough- who just floats around and waits for a pass. every time Taz (my speshal nickname for milan) touches the puck, it's magick<3

I MISS A-TRAIN! get better volchie!xXx

-Cheechoo, for christ's sake, SCORE! make my dad insanely proud! make the sens fans just a little happy that we got you with the heatley deal, because so far, it's all MILANMILANMILANRULES, CHEECHOOCHEECHOOCHEECHOODROOLS.
-Karlsson, did you really expect to kick it around in the big leagues with the way you were playing? I mean, you were doing OK, but you would have had to be playing exceptionally for Murray to want to keep you and have your contract start ticking. and really, Karlsson, you CRIED?! man.. (: istillloveyou.
-Brian Lee, how do you do?? I missed you SO MUCH! OMIGOSH. thankyouthankyouthankyou for scoring last night, it redeemed you just slightly with my mother (although she still hates your guts and calls you a pinhead, but whatever). Brian, you clearly are the best. thank you for being yourself, carry on. (:

happy, HAPPY days! my family is doing our innagural trip to Syracuse to watch a Crunch game on friday...Niki, won't be seeing you there, but Mayorov will still be buzzing around, as with Picard, so it should be some good fun. NASTY MIRASTY!!!!!!<33
the Crunch fans are CRAZYYY. iloveit. like last year there was this woman sitting behind us with the deepest voice of life, i swear she sounded like a man, and she kept SCREAMING at the players, like when Niki was getting pushed around, she was yelling 'NO NIKITA!'. well, actually all the girls (and possibly some boys) were yelling for him not to fight. i quess they didn't want his beautious face ruined by some River Rat bruiser. :P mayhaps Picard will score another hattie whilst we are in attendence (: *crosses fingers*

GO CRUNCHH!!
GO JACKETSS!

happy turkey day!

tralalalalala, i am in a good mood!

Pumpkin Pie, Gravy, Brownies, relishing a Blue Jackets win......
SOME BREAKING NEWS: COLUMBUS IS 1ST IN THE CENTRAL DIVISION!!!!!!
the Wangs are shitting themselves, they are not playing like the "superstar" team that the analysts were trumpeting them to be (: *oh happy days* and Toronto is failing miserably, they only have a measley 1 point thus far. COME ON, EVEN THE ISLANDERS HAVE MORE POINTS THAN YOU! LET'S GET SOMETHING GOING FOOLS!!!

___

Columbus did not play very well last night-or in this first road trip in general-but they only lost one game, which is amazing. i don't know wether to laugh or cry at the fact that they can not play their hardest and still win. :/

Finger-Biters and the Hair-Raisers

(:

word on the street is that Scott Hartnell (aka treseme luscious curls) nibbled on MY Kris Letang's finger!

why, I dunno, I didn't see the game. but I'm guessing that Scottie was asking for tips on how to style his hair as straight and beautious as Tangers, and well Kris wasn't having any of that, so Treseme went all RUUTU on him. Scott's sick of his greasy poodle. he wants to know how a REAL man styles his hair.

BUT, none of them can rock it like Voracek. his hair is possibly the best thing going on inb hockey at the moment. it's all floppy and greasy and long and blond-ish. what a beaut. Grabovski is getting up there as well. Hockey players SHOULD NOT HAVE LONG HAIR!

<3

Heatley Hatrick.

NICE GAME THE OTHER NIGHT COLUMBUS!
6-3 LOSS TO THE SHARKS, AND-AWESOME-YOU LET FREAKING DANY HEATLEY GET A HAT TRICK.

fabulous. I WAS going to stay up late to watch that game but thank god I didn't, otherwise
THINGS WOULD BE FLYING. AT ALL OF YOUR JACKETY FACES. I don't even know which of you deserves the first beating. I HOPE HITCH SPANKED YOUR BOTTIES TO KINGDOM COME YOU FOOLS!

sorry, I'm just really pissed off. I hate San Jose, and Heatley. >.<
and Kat will be laughing in my face. Goddamit.

Preseason.

Columbus News:

they are dropping like flies. why do we even bother having a preseason anyways, when
our players end up getting injured? I'm killing Tootoo, native or not. i have officially
declared this preseason futile and a failure. stupid arses.

Ottawa News:

a big win-win from the sens last night! Fisher had a hat trick, but it would have been so
much sweeter if Kovalev had gotten one.

there was also an article in the paper about how Erik Karlsson is crashing over at Alfie's
place. just think Lemieux and Crosby. the article also mentions a Swedish girlfriend.
and in the picture, Karlsson is wearing pink shorts and flip flops. bonne chance.

Toronto News:

they are KILLING the preseason! Hagman's goal last night against the Flyers was DANGLE-riffic! (hah, I am a neeeerrrrddddd.) Toronto is looking sick in the preseason, KamaKadri is
turning out to be fantastic. i wonder if he'll play at all this year, or will they send him
straight back to the Knights?? No word of Johnny T, and I haven't been able to creep him at all. shame.

Buffalo/Detroit News:

HAH! YES!

Buffalo beat Detroittttt!!!!! (: happy days! 3-1, I wonder what Kid Raper and co. were
thinking by the end of that night (tee hee)

WHEN DOES HOCKEY START?!?!

I MISS MY CBJ!
God, I am getting so impatient. Pre Season starts in TWO DAYS! :D! the NHL Network posted their pre-season schedule and-surprise!- the Blue Jackets will not be featured. Instead I will have to stomach Boston and their stink, as well as Detroit and their suck. So Basically, hockey starts in two days for EVERYONE ELSE. but for me, I have to wait a couple more weeks to see my boys. I hate that I live so far away. I hate that the Jackets are in the west. I hate that I can't go to any of their games unless they come here. I hate Henrik Zetterberg. I hate Pavel Datsyuk. I hate not-so-osGOOD. It's a good thing i have center ice, or I would never get to see CBJ. sigh.
poo.

November. Be there. (: the Heat is GONE!

the massive thrill;

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

I'm going to a JACKETS GAMEEEE! I frikken got tickets!
I will be going, on the 26th of November, to see my beloved KICK SOME BUM!
*knock wood*

man, i need to prepare. ok, i need a checklist

jersey [x]

sign [ ]

pennant [x]

clever comebacks for any ottawa fans who hassle me [x]

I am stoked. we're sitting in the 2nd level, which isn't bad, I would have preferred to be closer, but eh, I'll be the only Jacket fan in the crowd, I shouldn't be too hard to spot.

I can't wait to rub it in Kat's face :3

I need a message for my sign.
that's where my brain power will go this week.
I'm also trying to figure out a good 3rd jersey option for the Jackets; every other team has one, why shouldn't we????

Minny's got a cool one. classic and simple. the sens are disgusting. I bet Heatley's shit is better looking than their third jerseys. HEH. SPEAKING OF HEATLEY...

and the Saga is up;

Dany Heatley saga is OVER. now he's san jose's problem. now the sens have cheechoo and michalek. I can already tell my dad is happy to have cheech. he salivates over aboriginal hockey players. he used to make us watch islanders games just to see Ted Nolan. Bromasch.

now I'm happy, because finally everyone will just SHUT UP about Heatley and MOVE ON to reporting about hockey. the upside of this trade is: 1) the 'poison' is out of Ottawa's dressing room and, 2) Ottawa finally has 2 possible lines that will provide depth in the goal production. the downside: He's in the western conference. unfortunately as a Jacket's fan, I will be seeing a lot of his selfish behind this year. merde.

i took the picture of Heaters in the paper and taped it to the back of my door in my room. so when I am in a pissy mood, I can always throw things and his face and feel better about myself.

OK, now I am done.

Columbus fans in Ottawa

let me just start of by saying: SCHOOL SUCKS!

it's only a week in and I have an oral presentation and a test. my french teacher will be the DEATH of me. everyone is dropping his class. I would too, but if I even suggested it to Babs and Vati, they would each have heart attacks. so I'm stuck with a fail. yay.

HAPPY NEWS: I found another CBJ fan!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't think there were any in Ottawa, let alone in my french class! I think I may hahve found a new friend. (:

anyways, I should probably go study and whatnot. -.-

Filatov approached by KHL teams.

Were you called to the KHL this offseason?

I was called this summer and during last season. I am not going to name teams...

And I bet you were offered more money.

A lot more. Times more.

What is holding you in America?

When I was 18 I made a decision to play in the NHL. This decision did not come easy. But what is the point of backing off now? It would make more sense if I didn't play well. But everything is going good for me right now across the ocean.

---

what a surprise! not. as much as I love Nikita, I know that he expects almost instant NHL stardom, and if he does not get it, he'll lollop straight back to Russia. if he spends this next year toiling in Syracuse or playing very minimal minutes for CBJ, he will fly back to the motherland faster than you can say Yashin.

yeah so not shocking news at all, I've read his blog (and although the Russian/English translation sucks) I get the impression that he's not very fond of America. I'm glad he's going to try his hardest to make the roster, but Hitch is quite staunch of the defense, so needless to say it will be a sehr interesting year. I reeeeaaaalllllyyy hope he stays, because I think he will be amazing one day in the NHL, he just needs to develop. you can't have your puck and score with it too. (heh.)

today i found a glorious sight where people can talk about hockey players and their girlfriends. it's basically a bunch of retards and puckbunnies talking about how much they a) love a certain player or b) how much they hate a certain player's GF. the retards like to spread GF rumours that scare the bejeebers out of the puckbunnies and leave them in a tizzy for several days. all in all, it's a hoot, not very reliable info, but funny nonetheless.

anways, back to the gist of the story: Geno has got a girlfriend!!!! she's the slutty blond girl with big lips that i saw sitting next to him at the NHL awards!normally i can handle NHL player girlfriends, but she's too much. when she met Geno, she was already in the process of divorcing her rich husband. if that's not a red flag, i do not know what one is. i've seen her in a bathing suit, she doesn't even know how to tie one up properly. her name is Oksana, but the fangirlies on the forum refer to her as "the Ox". I like it xD it's fitting. and i know i am being mean, but she is so clearly tapping it for the money!!! (pahahaha)

school starts in 2 days. back to "school" or the concentration camp as i like to call it. guarded by the oberfuhrs and ss ihatechildren. and the hitler youth. dear god, kill me now. and this year is important, i have to study and labour SO hard, because colleges will look at my marks this year, which means that if i want to get a scholarship to U of Stockholm, i need PERFECT (and then some) grades. and i need to join some clubs. i predict a burnout sometime soon. I'll think of myself as Ryan Miller. (we can both do very very well, and we both have a LOT of pressure on us.) jus, i can see it now. just call me mini miller. i hope we don't get injured. (i actually like this idea of mini miller, a LOT.)

so it's very late at night and i am doing girly quizzes.

Columbus Blue Jackets schedule, Patrick Kane...

I know this is a little late on the draw but, Patrick Kane?! what an idiot. I quess that's how they do down in Buffalo. Its lovely to know that hockey players take their time off in the summer to really get out there and do productive things. -.-

I'm too lazy to post all of the Jackets' 2009-2010 schedule, but as I am looking at it, it isn't too bad. they play the Sens November 26th, in Ottawa, so I will be going. I only counted 8 sets of back-to-back games, (not counting pre-season) and our longest road trip is five games, from nov. 19th-26th. April is killer. five games, three against Detroit. Kill me now. Hopefully we will have clinched a playoff spot by then, because thos last five games will not be fun. In February we have five home games in a row :) yes, this is quite a good schedule.

this will be a good year for hockey. <3

I'm not dead..

there's just nothing to post about. anxiously awaiting the new season. the Blue Jackets schedule has been released. Columbus starts OCTOBER 3rd against the Minnesota Wild @ home. and they come to Ottawa NOVEMBER 26th, so I need some tickets for that ^^

be patient my friends,

Alex Kovalev....

so the Sens have done it again. what is it with this organization and signing some of the biggest drama queens in the league?? you'd think they'd learn after Yashin, Heatley. but nope, they sign another goon. another RUSSIAN goon in fact.

I don't really know how I feel about this signing, from what I understand, Kovy is one of the most dynamic players in the league-when he plays. He's also one of the most inconsistant players in the NHL. he scores a hat trick one night, then dissapears the next. But the Sens are the same way, I guess. off and on. (usually off) He's a good fit for Ottawa.

In Other News, the Toronto Maple Leafs have landed the 'Monster'. I guess all that ass-kissing Brian Burke did in Sweden sealed the deal. Brian Burke may very well be my favorite GM. he's amazing.

I was lurking on some Columbus blogs and stuff, and they are actually talking about Heatley coming to Columbus. NO WAY! he's an asshole, and I don't want him anywhere NEAR Columbus! they say we can trade Huselius and Brassard, and Modin, and FILATOV....FOR HEATLEY? no goddam way. I do not want that heartless-non team player anywhere near my team. nononononononononononononononoNO!

trade him to Buffalo, heh-heh. I'm sure the fans over there will LOVE to have him. it's funny you know, cause they hate the Ottawa Senators (just sore losers because the Sens ALWAYS beat Buffalo, even when the Sens play like shit)

actually, they probably WOULD love him. as long as he scores goals for them, right? :P I actually think Buffalo is a great team, very non-threatening, from an Ottawa fan's point of view (or ex-Ottawa fan) and Ryan Miller is a really good goalie, he's honestly what keeps them from being last in the east (heh-heh) it's just amusing for me how much Buffalo fans hate the Sens, because their pwecious widdle hockey players can't beat the Sens :} (but next year, I hope they DO beat the Sens. I'd be happy)

I hate Detroit. every time I hear someone say "Detroit" or "Michigan" I inadvertantly cringe. stupid, STUPID wings.

there's some loser in this world. Yesterday, a Connor C. lookalike (aka the sptting image of a whale) tried to act all cool and knowing by informing me that 'Alex Koveelov' had just signed with the Senators, and that it was a good move because 'he'd score lots of baskets'. I had a hard time not slapping him in the face and yelling "IF YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT HOCKEY, DON'T TALK ABOUT IT!". and he also doesn't comprehend why everyone hates Dany Heatley and he is also under the impression that San Jose is actually a good playoff team. I guess he supposes that, because they were first seed in the West during the season, they are automatically going to make it deep into the playoffs. heh, not San Jose's case. they are a shit playoff team. But I have nothing against them.

Blue Jackets in the Olympics

I forgot to say, Steve Mason and Rick Nash were named on the invite list for the Vancouver Olympics. Tyutin will probably be invited for Russia, and Huselius for Sweden, and a longshot for the Czech Republic is Voracek JACKETS REPRESENT!<3

Mase probably won't make the team though. not with Luongo and Brodeur invited. Nash probably will though. AND OSGOOD WASN'T INVITED! :)!

heh-heh.

FREE AGENT FRENZYY

I haven't posted in awhile, I was at my stupid cottage, and there's no internet there. anyways, July 1st was a crazy day, and it made me ticked because Columbus signed none of the good UFAs. we got Garon, the backup goalie of the Pens, and Sami Pahlsson fro Chicago. he's Swedish, so that's fine. Rick Nash got a contract extension, so he will be a JACKET FOR LIFE<33

Hossa went to Chicago with a 12 year contract, which was a shock to me, because I thought he was just going to do the whole one year, extra but not permenant firepower, but whatever. I don't really like Hossa. my mom's crazy about him. :/

Gaborik went to the Rangers, Havlat signed with Minnesota, Rolosen signed with the Islanders, Knuble went to Washington, Gill signed with Montreal, and Bouwmeester signed with Calgary. :(

and Heatley refused to waive his no trade clause to go to Edmonton. which is pathetico. Ottawa, my heart does go out to your organization, you always seem to be stuck with the losers.

annnnnddddddd the Sens prospect camp is tomorrow! It's been going on all week, but obviously I couldn't go -.- I want to see Karlsson and Lee. is it weird to like a team's prospects but not the team itself?

I'm tired, ajo <333

2009 NHL entry draft.

John Moore, the newest member to carry the flag :)

what a night. I thought it was going to be good, and I wasn't disapointed. well, actually, I was. TWICE my boys came a pick away from getting my Swedes. with Ottawa, Magnus Paajarvi Svensson was still available, but they didn't pick him. I guess there was a greater need for defense. And Columbus passed up Jacob Josefson for the likes of John Moore. I have nothing against Moore, I'm sure he's going to be great, but I wanted my Swedes! :(

Obviously there was one more Swede I wanted more than anything, Victor Hedman, but I am not a fool. I knew my teams would have no chances in drafting him. I'm glad he went to Tampa though, I've always had a soft spot for them, ever since they won the cup back in 04. (at least I think it was 2004 :/)

Swedish or not, I welcome Moore and the other draft picks into the Jackets organization with open arms. (:

BLUE JACKETS 2009 NHL ENTRY DRAFT PICKS:

1st round: John Moore, D

2nd rounds: Kevin Lynch, C

4th round: David Savard, D

5th round: Thomas Larkin, D

6th round: Anton Blomqvist, D(FINALLY A SWEDE!)

7th round: Kyle Neuber, RW

ok, I feel quite confident we have enough defense now... :P yay! this is exactly what the Jackets needed to pick in the draft. but we still need some offsenive defense that already plays in the NHL. we have a strong core of rookies, but we need a few veterans to really solidify the organization. (is it too wishful to hope for Jay Bouwmeester?) {scratch that, I hear he's going to Calgary. unfair}

now on to the goods:
TOP TEN DRAFTEES IN THE 2009 NHL ENTRY DRAFT:

1st, NYI: John Tavares

2nd, TBL: Victor Hedman

3rd, COL: Matt Duchene

^ I'm stoked about Matty's deal, because he gets to go to a team he idolized growing up :} good luck Mr. Duchene!

4th, ATL: Evander Kane

5th LAK: Brayden Schenn

^ it made my night to see Brian Burke's face after LA selected his golden boy :)

6th, PHX: Oliver Ekman-Larson

7th, TOR: Nazem Kadri

^ another great moment of the draft was watching Brian Burke snatch Brian Murray's pick right from under his nose.

Burke: is kadri the guy you want?

Murray: yeap.

Burke: yeah, well we're gonna take him.

Murray: OK.

8th, DAL: Scott Glennie

9th, OTT: Jared Cowen

^ I TOLD you they would pick Cowen! I called it! I predicted it! YESSS, I am a Genius.

10th, EDM: Magnus Paajarvi Svensson.

^ I wanted him. I wanted him soo badly! :(

and with the 20th pick, ONE AWAY FROM COLUMBUS, New Jersey stole Josefson. damn.

1.more.day.

one.more.day.

one more day til the draft.

Rachel's pool sucked. it turned Lois' fingernails blue and Kat's hair green. and, as I was rinsing my hair last night, the bottom of the bathtub was turquoise. and now my hair smells gross. cheers.

tttttwoooo dayysssssss !

I'm dying in the suspense. two days until draft/

anyways, this is going to be super short because I'm going to my friends pool party and I have to get ready and whatnot :} it's gonna be sick.

anyways, since I dont have anything else to talk about, I am going to post a couple of pictures that I enjoy:

and this is possibly the cutest picture my eyes have ever been exposed to: (it's Talbot and Crosby and the World Juniors)

here is Alexander Ovechkin, the "missing link" as my mother calls him, one of the ugliest guys in the world, ACTUALLY LOOKING CUTE. maybe it's because we cant see his missing teeth? who knows.

this is Sidney Crosby, proving how much of a nerd he is (note: that is him, sleeping with the cup instead of going to the bar and having a beer with the rest of his teammates)

SUMMER!

yes, that is right. school's out, summer is IN babay!

well actually that's a lie. there's still a day left. but we got our report cards today so nobody is going to bother going tomorrow except the poor unfortunate souls who are being forced to go. like my friend Nick. anyways, it was a great last day, and I got to hang out with all my friends, and me and An chickened out, we were gonna give Marky a big hug, but we knew he would kill us.

pool party tomorrow!~ gonna be some good times.

3 days to the draft! :)

Ovechkin at the MMVAs

happy belated father's day everyone. I had a fantastic father's day, consisting of going to Red Lobster and stuffing my face with cheddar biscuits and shrimp :} and watching the MMVAs with my cousin.

the only reason I wanted to watch the MMVAs (muchmusic video awards) is because I heard that Ovie was going to be there. and I wasn't dissapointed. :-D he showed up all decked up in some of his streetwear clothing(how shameless is that?) and he picked up one of the veejays and spun him around when he was asked how he would celebrate winning an MMVA. and he totally screwed up announcing Rise Against. why they pick Russian hockey players with thick accents to announce awards is beyond me.

also, there was some huge Lady Gaga performance, and I didn't see it, but apparently there were some sort of fireworks coming out of her bra.....? ook, glad I didn't see it, actually.

math exam was today, that was an experience.it was pretty stress inducing. and some kids literally started to cry. I can't wait to see what happens next year, when the exams actually count for 30% of your grade. hysterics, perhaps.

ummm, not much else to report, NHL DRAFT FRIDAY (geil) I can't wait to see who goes first overall and who the Blue Jackets get :>

I am leaving now, Jon and Kate Plus 8 one hour special is onnnnnnn....... big announcement! O.O
(I sense divorce is on the cards)

nothing

there's nothing to talk about.

nothing at all.

hockey is over.

I am sad.

Victor Hedman has something on his face. some sort of birthmark or scar or burn or something. I noticed it and assumed it was a bad picture, but you can see it in every picture. it's on his left side. I wonder what happened.

^ see, in the absense of hockey, this is what I have to talk about.

Hedman's thing on his face is most prominent on this picture:

woot, excited for the NHL entry drafts! GO GO KULIKOV! AND HEDMAN! AND PAAJARVI SVENSSON! and Johnny T.

NHL awards....or the Russian awards/

way to go Steve Mason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calder, Calder, Calder!
haha, Bobby Ryan only got nine votes, and Kris Versteeg only got one. tee-hee. Nash won an awrd too. BLUE JACKETS REPRESENT! annd I was right about Mason's girlfriend. she IS blond. she's pretty actually, but she was wearing a lot of eye make up. Geno was sitting beside a blond russian girl as well. she had HUGEE lips. Way to go OV! Hart, Rocket Richard, and Lester B. Pearson. Fatpuke won two and Geno won one. screw Fatpuke. Roberto Luongo won the fan fav and people were booing him :( that is so mean. some people are asses.

Steve Sullivan won the comeback award, and Jean Beliveau won the life time achievement award. and I forget the rest. i was laughing really hard in the beginning, what a weird way to open it.

Lord Stanley

it has been long. very long since I have posted, mainly because I came downstairs to get a bag of pretzels and there was a spider the size of a pancake hanging around the couch. and where there is one spider, there are thousands more lurking in the dark.

anways, while i didnt write, the Penguins came back to tie the series, and then go on to WIN IT, THUS WINNING THE STANLEY CUP!

well then.

it was a perfect end to the hockey season. I was screaming like a fool, to be honest, because watching Sidney Crosby-the youngest NHL captain ever to win the cup-lifting that thing above his head and cheer, and see the other guys hugging and laughing and yelling, I knew that they were the most deserving team.

and I love the irony of everything. Hossa ditched the Pens to go to the Wings because he thought they would win the cup, and in the finals, his old team-a team he COULD'VE been on-beats the Wings. oh, happy days.

Maxy scored the only goals in the final, which is awesome for him, because now everyone knows how great he is :)

Evgeni Malkin won the Conn Smythe, and I was laughing really hard at his interview, because he barely knows any English, and the English he DOES know is so heavily accented that you can barely understand it. great stuff.

NHL player awards are tomorrow :) Mase is nominated for 2. *crosses fingers* hopefully he can sweep them both, who knows. annnd, Malkin and OV ofr Hart trophy, plus scotiabank fan fave. I am excited.

he has a little blog thing going on for the Blue Jackets web site, talking about how excited he is to be nominated and stuff, and he's confirmed he has a girlfriend, Amberleigh or something like that. she's got an interesting name, I guess. I bet she's blond. and has big boobs. whatever, as long as Steve is happy and continues to bring home the bacon (i.e. wins games) he can date a 400 pound lumberjack named Frank for all I care.

in the absence of hockey, I have had to find some other things to amuse me with. FIFA is gay, but the UEFA under 21 soccer chamionships are pretty good. when I was watching the England vs. Finland game, a steaker ran across the field, which is always good. it provides humor and hilariousity that makes the day better. :D

I also started watching Jon and Kate Plus 8, and the kids are honestly some of the cutest things on this planet.

and Canada's next top Model is an ok show. so, soccer and reality TV for me this summer.

and, before school lets out, I have a math exam on the 22nd, which is gay to the extreme. we took a practice test yesterday and i got 68%, which is better than a fail, I guess. whatever, math can go crawl into a hole with the Boston Bruins and Beans and go die.

hehe, Dany Heatley asked to be traded from the Sens. the whole organization is crumbling before our very eyes :) can you believe he had the audacity to give Murray a list of teams he wants to be traded to? why, Sens, do you always get stuck with the asses? (Daigle, Yashin, Emery)

Ottawa is a toxic town, but it is my town, and I wuvvles it :)

Sidney Crosby:

happy belated birthday!

yesterday was Erik Karlsson's birthday :-) hopefully he had a nice, relaxing birthday home in Sverige with his friend and family.

sigh. these Stanley Cup finals are not at all the way I wanted them to start off. It's a real kick in the ass knowing Pittsburgh was the better team. Detroit should thank their lucky stars the got the bounces that they did. and Justin Abdelkader, YOU ARE ON MY LIST. I hate it when players are shit in the regular season, and in the playoffs they become beasts, it pisses me off. I prefer it the other way around (see Zdeno Chara)

Henrik Zetterburg is a sneak, he is also on my list. well, he was always on it. Chris not-so-Osgood, you are on my list as well. the only one that might be able to get away with anything is Pavel Datsyuk, just because he's injured and can't score. and he's a Lady Byng nominee. which goes to the classy guys. Brian Stuart, you are TOTALLY on my list for that hit on Umberger in this year's playoffs. you thought I forgot, didn't you? no. I only forgot your name.

poor, poor Penguins. I think I am bad luck, because I always mention I need the Pens to get a two goal lead, and DETROIT turns around and gets lucky. fat, geezer, JERKS.

hopefully they are able to win in their Mellon Arena :-) and I am excited because a bunch of 2009 NHL entry draft prospects will be in attendance. Don Cherry was talking about Johnny T yesterday night, according to my parents. I wouldn't know, because I spent my night channel surfing between the MTV movie awards and the game. (LOL'd at Bruno and Eminem)

speaking of the MTV movie awards, Twilight swept them. stupid, stupid twilight fangirlies. Twilight beat slumdog millionaire o.O pathetic, Slumdog won Oscars, and some idiots are going to vote for a British Partier with bad hair and a pot head? -.- hate twilight. Kristen Stewart dropped her award, which pretty much made my night, besides Eminem getting pissed at some guy Bruno for landing his ballsack on Em's face. xD

anyways, the Pens lost by a score of two again, thanks to some lucky Detroit goals and soft bounces on Fleury's part. I don't think the hockey gods like the Pens very much. :'(

anyways, I'm bored, no hockey, so,

ajo<33333

Saturday, May 30, 2009

are you kidding me?

I meant for the PENGUINS to score two more goals, not Detroit.

Finals.

yes so, I changed my blog around, and as you can see, it's got a Columbus theme, with the picture on the bench and the blog colours and whatnot :) vewy pwetty.

the Stanley Cup finals are going on as I speak, and Pittsburgh is tied with the Wangs, which is always good. I must say I was quite dissapointed in the Wangs' first goal, which Fleury tipped in with his butt. that's never a terrific goal to have against you. But I was very happy because in the final 2 minutes, Fedotenko snagged a very nice open net. :) it was a treat to see Osgood flounder desperately with his stick.

so far the Pens have had 2 power plays, none of which they have managed to capitalize on. For both power plays actually, half of the time was spent in the PENS zone, which is also very dissapointing. I was shouting 'wake up! stop sleeping on the job! this is the stanley cup finals, not some backyard ice tournament!' and my dog procceded to give me dirty looks. I guess I was disturbing his beauty sleep.

this game is a real nail-biter thus far, as it's tied. I don't think I will be entirely comfortable until the Pens have a two goal lead. *kock wood*

but I am not very nervous, considering Pittsburgh isn't my team. the only reason I am so into it is probably because I want to see the wangs crushed like the old geezers they are. if Columbus doesn't get it, the next best team should. It's fun being a Columbus fan, because it means that I can cheer for both the Pens AND the Caps. and I have the shirts to prove it. I can enjoy watching both teams, since I am not some freaky bandwagon gangfangirl or something. They are both good teams, but hey, Columbus is my main love.

I was watching some hockey fights this afternoon, especially Jon 'Nasty' Mirasty, the biggest scrapper in the AHL. this guy's a freaking beast. I remember when I went to a Syracuse Crunch game over march break, he got into a fight in the first MINUTE of the game. he's amazing. AND, he's part aboriginal, which is always cool for me, because I'm Metis. anyways, it's pretty cool, cause I was reading Fili's blog, and he was mentioning how Nasty was such a mentor for him, teaching him how to scrap and all :D schweet.

that Syracuse Crunch game was amazing. I actually got to go down to ice level and stand around like a goon and take videos of the team warming up. (HELLO, FILATOV!) a bunch of Crunch players were looking at me when they were running their drills, but I only had eyes for Nikita :)
honestly, who can help themselves when faced with such hotness?

I told my mom he was going to score that night, and he did. I may very well be his good luck charm. you never know, I could go to their game in Ottawa this year, and he could get a hat trick! or maybe not, because the sens ALWAYS win when I watch them in their arena. -.-

something I've noticed about Nikita, whenever he scores, his next shift he's like...Super Nikita or something. before his goal, he was skating around, not working too hard, just chillin', and when he scored, the next shift he was zooming around, blocking shots, intercepting passes....

Dear Nikita,

If you want to be a force in the NHL, you have to try EVERY shift! I understand you were recovering from and injury and you are getting used to North American ice, but if you WANT to be a future Calder Nominee and Hall of Famer, TRY! make your future wifey happy!

Love, Tinka

Damn it, the Wangs did another one of their hope crushing, last minute goals. I HATE it when they do that! they don't score for the whole period, and all of a sudden they get a goal in the final minutes. very, very crummy team.

*****

Hedman is going to New York, apperently. Charles Wang, the GM of the NYI is going to have a meeting with him. what's with Johnny T? according to these quacks on CBC, a lot of teams are concerned over his 'skating'. Isn't he supposed the be the next superstar? and NOW they don't want him? Idiots. Hedman better not go to NYI, he deserves a better team for his NHL debut. Tampa Bay is a better team. OOH, his contract with MoDo is up, so he CAN play next year! I swear, I can't wait to see him kick some hockey forward's butts. my biggest wish for him is, in his first game with Boston, to take on Zdeno Chara. come on, Hedman's a giant, he could take him. hmm, I need to think of a nickname for Hedman. *thinks*

maybe man-child? I call Backstrom Lards, only when I am in a mean mood, because of the numerous pictures I have seen of him with his chubby fat :) but I love me Backie. Ovechkin is OV, Sidney is Sid the Kid, except he isn't a kid anymore, so he should get a new one. Sometimes I call him Sidders. Kris Letang is Tangers, Malkin is Geno, Maxime Talbot will forever be Maxy, Fleury is Flower, or Fleurs. Huselius is Notorious, because I'm cool like that, and Brian Lee is the potty mouth, but I lovee him. Vermette is Vermy, Mason is Mase, Fedor Tyutin is rooty-toot-tyuty, and Nikita Filatov is Fils, or Fili, which I yelled out at the crunch game, and today I just read in his blog that they call him that :) Erik Karlsson is Karlie, until I find out some more about him. I need one for Nash. Manny Malhotra is MANNNNYYYYYYYY. I can't say his name without yelling it. I need some more nicknames for my Columbus players. :/ alot of their names are short. like Boll, Russell and Nash.

there is some third period action to watch,
AJO<33333

Geezers and Recitals/

some very disturbing things I have seen. so turns out I was right about those Detroit players being Geezers. there's some guy on Detroit, Chris Chelios I think, and he is 47. FORTY FREAKING SEVEN! he's going to get killed out there! :O! his grandkids should be afraid for him.

I am currently wearing my Crosby shirt, waiting for the game tonight, and feeling sad because I am probably going to miss the first period because I am going to my friend's dance recital. :/ and it doesn't end until 8 pm. so I am gonna try and give the Pens as much luck as possible, even though I don't get to watch the first period. man, this sucks :( I wanna watch my Fleurs, Kid, Tangers, Maxy, Russie, Geno, Staalers, Gonchie and company kick some red wings butt!

It has come to my attention that Sergei Federov and Victor Kozlov have ditched the Caps for the KHL. ha-ha, it's kind of ironic to me that Feds went and Kozzie followed. since Feds is one of the only vets on the Caps, I wonder what will happen next. perhaps the whole dressing room will be thrown into a panic. heheh :)

and I was creeping around on the internet yesterday night and I found a 2009 mock NHL entry draft thing. i was really excited because it showed Dmitri Kulikov being drafted by Columbus. which is amazing for a number of reasons:

-He's Russian
-he played with Filatov in this year's world juniors
-he's a defenceman, and Columbus needs an offensive blueliner. (sorry, Mikey, you're trying)
-he doesn't play in the KHL, so there shouldn't be too many problems signing him.
-nominated for defenseman of the year in the OHL.

the website also had this order of players going, which I agree with strongly:

NYI- Johnny Tavares (if they pick anyone else, they are tremendously stupid. they need him for too many reasons to count.)

TBL-Victor Hedman (clearly, he could be of use in New York also, but let's face it-Tampa bay doesn't fare much better. they have some prospect offense in Stamkos, now they need some D men.)

CA-Matt Duchene (from what I hear this is pretty much a done deal. apperently, both parties are hopeful.)

Atl.- Magnus Paajarvi-Svensson (they need him. end of story.)

LA- Evander Kane (agreed. they could use some good offense to go along with Doughty.)

and here's where I disagree:

Phoenix- Brayden Shenn
Toronto- Jared Cowen

^ why would Toronto not pick Luke Shenn's brother? I'm sure the sibling dynamics would be there. think Henrik and Daniel Sedin, except not twins and not revolsive. :D

and besides, OTTAWA, is supposed to Draft Cowen. I have been stressing how much they need some defense for practically the whole year! and as awesome as I think Ryan Ellis is, he's a tad too small. that's the only reason he won't go higher, because of his size. and I know Karlsson's a shrimp, but he's the exception. Ottawa can't have two migets on the blueline. I won't allow it.

anways, here's to hoping we get Kulikov! :D what a terrific thing that would be. I swear to god, Columbus is gonna be one kick ass team next year. as long as they don't go in the way of the Thrashers, we should be fine. LET'S GO JACKETS! CARRY THE FLAG!

ps. I am for ever more now calling Tavares Johnny T. you heard it here first.

Sweeps, OT and Stanley Cup Finals

ummm, so today is a nice day :D and a really sad day :(

first, start with the good part: IT'S STEVE MASON'S BIRTHDAY! my widdle baby faced superstar in the making Stevey! :D this is why I love May, there's not only my birthday, but a ton of hockey player's birthdays as well. like kris russel, RJ umberger, Manny Malhotra, nikita filatov, steve mason, and ERIK KARLSSON, in 2 days :D

now the sad part: today is the one year anniversary of Vancouver's Luc Bourdon. he died riding around New Brunswick in his motorcycle. :'( *moment of silence*

----------

Pens swept the Canes the other night. Eric Staal FINALLY scored for the canes, but it wasn't enough to save them :( it did make me sad, because i can always have a lot of respect for a team that can beat both the devils AND boston, the top seeded team going into the playoffs. but on the other hand, the Pens ARE my playoff team since columbus was SWEPT. so I understand how these poor cane fans are feeling :/ but on the other hand, i was finally on the right end of a sweep :) so i got to get my broom out. i just sat in my chair, watching the game, and when the Pens won it, i jumped up and my broom banged the ceiling, and my mom bolted into the room and took it away from me :( it made me sad.

but I cheered up when Sid and Bylsma came on for interviews :) Sidney Crosby is such a classy guy. even my mom thinks so. my dad thinks he's a baby though. :/ but what does that old coot know :P

aaaannnnnnnnddddddddd, Detroit won their series against Chicago :( which freaking SUCKS, because that was pretty much chicago's best game in the series. they managed to hold the Wangs down to just one goal, and Kaners had an amazing, AMAZING goal to send it into OT. like seriously, it was insane! he skates by 3 Wangs, and roofs it past Ozzie. never even saw it coming :)

I think though, that a certain wangs player deserves some recogniztion. a mr. Darren Helm played exceptionally. in that one penalty kill, he kept the puck in CHICAGO'S end the whole time. if there was any wangs player who shoulve scored, it should hahve been him. which it was, in OT :) I may not like the wangs, but I cann certainly admit when they are playing well. which they almost always do. they ARE a good team. maybe too good....

huet's pad save in regulation deserves a mention too, the one where he was sprawled down and he whacked hoogamaflick's shot ride out. it wouldve been an open net. Huet stood on his head and kept those Hawks in it. :D

but obviously he's not a miracle worker, and in the end, the Hawks lost. Hat's off, RESPECT the the Chicago Blackhawks, who had an EXCELLENT season. <333333

----------

so, the Stanley Cup finals will be a repeat of last years, in which the Pens seek revenge on the dirty, crummmy, buttcracky Wangs.

good luck detroit, playing without Lindstrom, Datsyuk, and Ericsson. (sarcasm, i would never wish them luck,)

and I'm not giving any predictions, because whenever i say "oh wel so-and-so is going to win" that team always LOSES. so i'm keeping my lips zipped :) but I can hope thaty it's the pens. as long as we're not off to any bad starts, so Fleurs, do NOT try and act all cool and run into the arena, you remeber what happened last year? but of course, it couldve been those two wangs fans that were hanging around the entrance, i smell something fishy with those two. the way they were in hysterics after was a little suspicious. -.- LOL, i loved how talbot was all runrunrunrunrunrun STOP!

poor Fleurs. LETS GO PENS!<333

the birfdai boi :)

thought i'd post a picture of the birthday boy:

HAPPY 19TH NIKI!
whew, i might have to go cool down after that shot! XD

Happy Birthday Nikita!!!!!!

today is a happy day, for a number of reasons:

-IT'S NIKITA FILATOV'S BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
-i didn't have to do my nouvelles in french class :)
-we got our yearbooks
-the Pens are poised to sweep the Canes tonight!
-I have a Crosby t shirt that i can wear to school and get dirty looks from :D

but the most important reason:

IT'S NIKITA FILATOV'S BIRTHDAY!

big sexy turns 19 XDDDD I hope he has a great day, and gets a lot of prezzies, and hopefully he will be added to the blue jackets line up next year, so he can be nominated for a calder trophy and he can win and then columbus will have two dynamo rookies playing for their team...or maybe three, including Vorachek, the kid's amazing....... wow, as you can see, I am in a very hyper mood today.

i havent posted in a while, and so much has happened. *slaps wrist* bad girl. :}

so starting with friday. my friends all came over for a little belated birthday party, and they got me mini sticks :D they are the best. so we pigged out on two bottles of coke, three bags of chips, two pizzas, and two bags of skittles. man, i felt like such a lard on friday. we rented "the haunting of Molly Hartley" and it was quite possibly the gayest thing i have ever seen. it didn't even make sense. like, in the end, did she turn evil????? gay.

after that, my friends all ran up into my room and started yanking things off the shelves and playing with them. they found all my perfumes, and one of my friends, Kat, didnt read the damn label before she sprayed it-it was shaving cream. sprayed it all over my other friend, An, who then wiped it off and spread it on Kat, who then began attacking. it was the battle of the shaving cream. me and my other friend Rachel were shitting our pants laughing.

what a night~

ok on saturday I went for a drive in the country, boring as hell. and my parents went to this all-you-can-eat bean buffet O.O (they are such freaks, it's not even funny) and i stayed in the car and watched movies on my ipod. i was freaking out by the time they got back, because it was almost 6, and we were about an hour away from my house, and i thought I would miss the Pens game. i get freaked if i miss hockey.

but, we all got home in time, and i bolted to the tv set to watch my game :) pENS 6. cANES 1.
yikes. Pens have a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. by the third period, i actually WANTED the hurricanes to win, i felt so bad :( because i know how it feels to be on the wrong end of a sweep (see columbus blue jackets first round against detroit.) so I do believe Carolina's last nail in the coffin will be hammered in tonight, and even if they do win, aren't they just prolonging the agony? trust me, I know how it feels. Carolina, a word of advice: do NOT, have too many freaking goddam men on the ice with a little over a minute left in the third when you are TIED./

on sunday, i had another birthday party, with my uncle and stuff. we watched twilight. it was quite scary actually, because my mom thought Jacob was cute, and my uncle wanted to but the movie. my family is nuts. hopefully it's not contagious.

i got some terrific new prezzies, like an OVECHKIN shirt and picture, and a CROSBY shirt and picture :D now all i need is Backie and Tangers, and i shall be set.

i also got some clothes, from my anti sports cousin. i think that she doesnt even know what hockey is. :/ she got me two pairs of plaid shorts, which brings my total up to 5 pairs of plaid shorts. man, i feel like a total prep.

i also began to watch the Hawks game, but a few minutes into the second period, it was all just too depressing. and I'm glad i turned it off, what was the final score, 6-1 for the wings? >:( pisses me off. especially after the Kronwall hit. poor Martin Havlat, knocked un-friggen concious! and then the asses continued play over his body! goddamit, detroit@! and hawks, I am dissapointed in you as well! you managed to squeak a win in OT, an then this! 6-1. SIX TO FREAKING ONE. i cant believe the young guns were upstaged by geezers.

but something funny came out of the Kronwall hit: Babcock's comment. "this is the detroit red wings you're talking about, not a goon squad."
i read that in the paper, nearly died laughing. that's the line of the playoffs. well, either that or Torts and the Caps fans. that was pretty good too. another funny thing out of the Kronwall hit, was Brian Campbell talking about how it was a dirty, gutless hit, yet does he seem to remeber the hit he laid on RJ Umberger back when he was a sabre? they are very similar.

god, what am I gonna do in the summer.? die, quite possibly. i can't wait 5 months for hockey. -.-
but, on the plus side, when the Sens rookie training camp opens up, I get to go and creep Erik Karlsson and Brian Lee, since it's in the Sensplex :-) so, there IS a silver lining.

AND, the NHL player awards and NHL draft are coming up soon :) hewo, Calder Troph, meet STEVE MASON! (yn) and welcome to the NHL Magnus and Victor :D

ahh, Life is sweet

Pens Game tonight :)

so I went in a hcokey withdrawl yesterday. me and my parentswent out to dinner and I was freaking out, because i thought I was going to miss the game so I was yelling "WE HAVE TO GET HOME, WE HAVE TO GET HOME!" then my mom pulled out the playoff schedule and...it wasn't on. all that wasted energy for nothing.

And so, the Hawks lost again to the Detroit Red Wangs -.- at least they showed a much better effort, for what I watched. i had this massive headache, so went to bed pretty early. but the Wangs won it in OT, so I guess Toews and company put in a more valiant effort :-)

Pens game tonight though. Sidney and the gang take on Cam Ward and the Canes. poor canes, minus Cole and Ruutu. sucks for the canes that they are injured and all.

anyways, not much else to say about hockey, besides the fact that i am UBER excited for the game in a couple of hours :3 today was really hot in Ottawa, really humid and whatnot. finally i got to crack out the short shorts :} muahahaha. thank god there's a wind blowing around, otherwise it would be unbearable.

so I'm trying to learn Russian. trying is the key word in that last sentence. it's so hard O.O honestly, i'm looking at the symbols and how to pronounce them, and it's insane! meine gott, it's gonna take me years, YEARS to learn it! which is why I'm sticking to German and Swedish, because the words are similar to engelsk. :)

Professor Backie is doing a lovely job teaching me the words of his Homeland ;-)

The Pens game, Season Finale PRS

:) they won!

my little Penguins won 3-2 over the Carolina Hurricanes :) but haven't the canes lost every game one of their series' so far? and then went on to win that said series? man, i dont know. the playoffs are a crazy time. all bets are off. i pegged washington to be the winners, but i was wrong. man, i suck. i probably jinxed them by saying that :{

Hawks vs Wangs on tonight. i reeeeeallllly hope the Hawks can win this one. i mean, come on guys, the red wings are a bunch of GEEZERS! skate around them in circles! wear them out! leave them panting on the bench crying "my back, my back!! there goes my arthritis!" i am actually a little afraid for some of those wangs, one hit into the boards and BAM! there goes their hips. O.O

i'm a lovely person :)

I'm getting pumped for the NHL entry draft and NHL player awards that are coming in june :) my boy steve mason is nominated twice, for calder and vezna, so i'm crossing my fingers that he wins at least ONE of those awards. i hope i dont jinx him *knock wood* but he has a HUGGGE chance of winning the calder, he was stellar for columbus this year. he's definately our new franchise goalie :-D bye, Pazzy, i still get to see you in ottawa ;)

as i just mentioned, the NHL entry drafts are coming up, which means i get to ogle at the future NHLers :) it's totally one of the best things about hockey, heheh. so this year, we've got Johnny Tavares, Victor Hedman, Magnus-PAAJARVI-SVENSSON (it's SO annoying when people reverse it.) etc, etc. I am curious as to who the Sens will pick, considering they have cracked the top ten in draft slots. (heheh, thats cause they suck :P) personally, i believe the sens could use some defense, maybe someone like Ryan Ellis??? :D they need some help on the blue line. they've got Karlsson coming over (<333333333 :}) but they still need some assistance. Brian Lee is pretty pro aswell :D

****

in other news, my favorite math teacher is back :D finally, after 6 monthes of paternity leave, he is back, and i actually kind of like math again :) amazing what can happen when you actually like a teacher. but seriously, he's amazing. he talks to us like we're all friends, and he never yells at us, and we still listen to his every word. it sucks that school's ending so soon. (ohmygod, did I just say that O.o)

apparently, we have to do this huge math exam at the end of the year, testing what we learned in the 8th grade. and if you fail, you go to summer school. well, shit. math and i, we're like bitch team mates. we started out together, slightly awkward but ready to cooperate and try our best, then math started to get the better of me and our relationship has slowly declined. and i hate math now.

other noteworthy moments of the day:
-the vancouver 2010 olympic torch is coming to our school. each homeroom gets to be a country and we get to play games ^^ (COME ON SVERIGE, DEUTSCHLAND)
-my english teacher borrowed my pencil and never gave it back. (curse you JEB!)
-my friend's new iPod lie-detector app revealed that i wasn't lying when I said I liked KB-right in front of him.
-Marky almost grabbed Willises ding dong.
-Willis drew a very sexy picture of me on my binder ;)
-the couple of the year broke up :) but i can garantee to you they will be back on in a matter of days.
-we had a verrrrryyyyy good looking supply gym teacher today :) we played soccer with a giant ball. Marky, of course, was having the time of his life.

I am anxiously awaiting the outcome of the Hawks/Wangs game tonight :D hopefully the young guns, my Toews and Kaners will be able to produce. *crosses fingers*

PARANORMAL STATE SEASON FINALE WAS ON LAST NIGHT!

"Devil's Nest"

very interesting season finale. eheh.
it involved a werewolf, country hicks, occult, cabins, bad haircuts, and of course, cross-dressing. man, gotta love it. basically what it happened was there was some sort of thing terrorizing a family living in a cabin. scratch marks, banging on doors, strange noises, the whole bit. Ryan, being the saint that he is, talks to the amazing owners of the home, Patrick and whatshername :) apres ca, he goes to the landlady's house, and she babbles on about Rocky (aka Wendy :P) who was her brother. now rocky did it all. Devil worshipping, sex, drugs, and cross dressing.

DEAD TIME.

katrina can't get the door open. ryan checks out the basement.

Patrick reveals that, in grade 5, he made a "pact" with the devil, saying that in exchange for his soul, he would be a werewolf. cool guy, i know. anyways, ryan brings the whole nine yards, priests and cleansing rituals, and Patrick gets baptised in the river. and no more ghosty :)

man, i love that show XD

hockey videos, hockey games, HOCKEY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MANNY MALHOTRA!

yeah so today is Manny's b-day :) (he plays for columbus) and i wish him a very good time with his buddies and family :-D i hope he and the other Blue Jackets aren't still sad about their loss to the red wangs. (which i still am. but w/e)

anyways, the wangs beat the hawks, 5-2. it made me really depressed. i felt like choking chicago when they took about Khabibullin in the 3rd period. haven't they realised yet that, whenever you take away your goalie, THE OTHER TEAM ALWAYS SCORES???? especially detroit. they have a nasty habit of scoring at very crucial moments in a game, like they did when they swept columbus in the first round. god, i'm bitter :P BUT STILL, THAT TOO MANY MEN PENALTY WAS THE STUPIDEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE, BLUE JACKETS! I HOPE IT HAUNTS YOU THE WHOLE SUMMER! >:(

i'm hopeful that one of my teams wins (Pens) but the Canes, probably one of the biggest underdogs of the playoffs, might just win again tonight. i was totally rooting for them, they got rid of boston :) which makes me love them. but still, Pittsburgh>Carolina. sorry, but the canes just got the cup. which is why detroit shouldnt win. -.-

so, i'm cheering for the birds in the west (hawks, my mom's an idiot) and the OTHER birds in the east. (pens.) i'm still not sure as to who i will cheer for in the finals, if it's Hawks vs. Pens, i'm going to have more thinking to do.

so last night, after that horrible wangs game, i was pretty ticked off, so a drowned my sadness in chinese food, since my lazy ass parents didn't want to take me out on my birthday -.- then we went and got a movie, the sisterhood of the traveling pants 2. it sucked. the producers basically tried to roll books 2,3 and 4 into one big mess. not a smart move. i give it a 2/5 rating.

now I'm waiting for the Pens game to start :) come on tangers, sidney, maxime, RUSLAN, fleury, geno, etc.

*****
so i have just watched the washington capitals 'ladies man' video XD

god, they are amazing. shoane's response made me fall of my chair " i don't think he is, but if you asked him, brooksy would say he was. so i'll give it to him. make him feel good."

the whole team voted Brooks Laich. except for OV, he voted for himself, but what can you expect from him, eh?

lmfao, it was so funny, because OV looked totally serious, and then he started grinning, and i just KNEW he was going to say himself, i just knew it.

OV: you're looking at him. *waves hands* hiiiiii ladies :D

and Brash called OV ugly, basically. "......it's usually not the most good looking guy, it's usually the one with the most money.."

and of course, poor widdle innocent Backie had no clue XD

Backie: how about brooks laich? he's a pretty good man.....for a woman.

then he just grins, because he realises how gay he just sounded. Backie, you slay me.
all in all, it was a hilarious video. i nearly crapped my pants, i was laughing so hard. those caps, they're something else, i tell you.

*****
I also just watching the Pens scavenger hunt in Sweden, and wow, they are almost as cool as the caps XD

highlights:
-them getting told off by a swedish security guard
-them going to the zoo ('hey, seal!' 'do seals have ears?')
-tangers ditching talbot
-penguins ditching Tangers

yeah so, talbot and tangers were posing for pictures, and a bunch of pens players walk by.
tangers: *looks at talbot, and joins the line of pens*

but maxy got him back :) they all got on a boat, and tangers is talking to this old bag at the pier, and then the boat takes off, tangers is stranded, and the pens are ltao @ him. XD

and washington capitals on segways. XD

highlights:
-OV at the beginning (LETS GO CAPS)
-backie taking a picture of OV. (backie: smileeeee! ov: EEEEE!)
-greeners almost running over a squirrel
-greeners hitting a potted plant and falling over
-Ov's manical laugh when he drives by and sees greeners
-OV not even offering to help greeners up.

muahaha, i love it <333333

other things...

i didnt get to write about how the worlds ended!

naughty, naughty girl.

anyways, russia beat canada. canada WAS leading, but they blew it -.-

i can't say much about the game, i fell asleep in the 2nd intermission and missed the third period. but i hear there was no scoring, and in that case, i guess its a good thing i fell asleep.

god, the worlds bore me. european ice is soo much bigger than north american ice. i think i wrote this before, but i will say it again: everything seems slower on euro ice.

sweden won bronze? :-D GO GO HUSELIUS!

and i have just had the fortune to be introduced to Nicklas Backstrom. i always knew who he was, but OV was always my favorite cap...until now. Backi has stolen meine hertz.

i dont know, it was the 'learn to speak swedish' video that he did...he's so cute. he looks like a little kid :) and he's so awkward and monotone in front of a camera. like, he has no clue what to say. he looks like he's reading his comments off of a piece of paper xD

'you are embarassing your teacher'

'what language is that?'

'please, somebody help him'

god, what am i gonna do in the off season?

lmfao, the other day, my parents were watching horse racing, and i joined them for a bit. in case you have never watched it, horseracing is about 3 hours of TALKING, and about 2 minutes of actual RACING. so i zoned out, a bit. all i hear is: ........blahblahblah, ALEXANDER OVECHKIN....... and in which i jumped out of my seat and bolted to the tv.

mom: what the hell are you doing?

me: SHUT UP, i heard him say OV!

dad: barb, i think she's going insane.

a few minutes later, i give up and walk back to my seat. my parents look at me strangely for a few seconds. i break the silence. "man, it's gonna be one long summer."

which it will be.

i tormented myself by watching the Columbus goal horn. it brought back many memories, not all of them good. the freshest is their last game of the season. that horn blared more than it would have in the entire series, only to end up not blaring the winning goal -.- i seriously cried that night. my dad is so horrible. after the game was over, i stalked up the stairs, still sniffling, and he goes:

dad: heheh, looks like your boys won't be heading into the second round. *big smile*

me: -__-'

i thought i'd give you a little treat:
(man, i have a thing for the swedes :P)

round 3...and birthdays :)

it's my birthday :)

wooty woot woot! and today rocks because i got my BLUE JACKETS jersey, and i drove around the city, stopping anywhere i could, showing it off :) man, I can't wait until next season.

other than that, i got some lulus and a yoga top, and this pimpin' birthday hat that looks like a cake :-D i look soo hot. i feel like making some sort of ganster rap or something. i'm in a good mood. maybe it's because i'm now an OFFICIAL blue jackets fan. I've got the jersey now, nobody can doubt where my alliances lie :) i love NHL<333

the pens MURDERED the caps the other night. 6-2, my god, what happened washington? it was going at a great pace until that penalty. Varly choked. some lovely soft goals he let in. nice breakaway goal by the Kid. i love how he snatched the puck from OV. ouch. and when OV DID score, he didn't even go crazy o.o it made me feel sad, because i know that meant he was really crushed. but, Tangers scored, so all is good :")

Pens move on.

OV heads to Moscow. and the rest of the caps go back to their respective houses and play golf all summer :P GONNA MISS YOU CAPS!

WINGS vs. HAWKS~

soon, soon, SOON! in 10 mins, they start their series
OH GOD, WHAT A GREAT BIRTHDAY PRESENT IT WOULD BE IF THE HAWKS WON!
*hands clasped in prayer formation*

yeah, Columbus being swept by the wangs in the first round still left a sour note in me. still hate the wings. those old, geezers. have fun keeping upp with the young guns! :D:D

~the true columbus fan :)

Welcome to Ottawa, Erik.

today marks one of the best days of my life. today, mes amies, my future hubby, ERIK KARLSSON signed a three year NHL entry contract. which means, no more thousands of miles away, Erik. yous a canadian now :-D

so this morning, i trundled down the stairs in a sleep deprived stupor, pausing in the living room to nab the sports section of the newspaper. my eyes slowly ticked over the headlines: Manny Ramirez busted for drugs(well there's a surprise -.-) Bettman vs. Balsille battle rages on(whatcha think about that???), Karlsson signs with sens.....

PAUSE.

my eyes skimmed over the article, and when i was finished, my hopes were confirmed. Erik Karlsson is with the sens. his contract in Frolunda is up :-)

the only debate going on, is wether or not Karlsson is ready for the NHL. i think he can handle it. after all, he's a shrimpy defenseman( height- 5'11) and he played in the swedish elite league with old men. and won. so i don't think there's much question on wether or not he is ready. rock n' roll boi!! :D

ok well that was my excitement of the day, having Karlie sign with the Sens, even though i'm not much of a sens supporter myself. but hey, i can't go see any of the Pens, Jackets or caps games, considering they are far away american teams. so i guess i make do with the sens. plus, there's Brian Lee, AND NOW ERIK KARLSSON! honestly, i really want to go to some games this year, like sens vs. jackets(my plan is to wear my columbus jersey and hahve people eyeballing me :]) sens vs. pens (hahah, sens versus pens, i made a rhyme. i want to see the kid, tangers, fleury, geno, etc..) sens vs. caps (BACKIE, OVIE AND VARLY) and now NY rangers, just so i can go sit behind the rangers bench and piss Torts off. 'hey torts, i'm a little thirsty, can you toss me up a water bottle?' and wherever Paajarvi-Svensson and Hedman go, i watch them too. talk about a prospect watch :3

in other news, the pens game on wednesday, the one i was watching whilst i wrote my last post, turned out to be quite a game :-) i say this only because my TANGERS managed to snag a goal in OT. honestly, i don't know how Varlamov didn't save it, but I'm glad he didn't, because it means i get to go and brag about Tangers to my friends and parents. (my mom & dad are cheering for the caps, for some reason. they think they'll win :/) lol. and tonight, is another do-or-die for the Pens, because if they lose, it's 3-1 for the caps, and i doubt the penguins can rally to overcome such a deficit. so, i will be stuffing my face with cheetos and fruit punch, eagerly watching my penguins win. (hopefully.)

OOH, malkin was on FIYA! like seriously, when he plays, he PLAYS. now we see some signs of life from mr. MVP Hart nominee :) and Backstrom scored last night, also. all my boys scored.
*anxiously awaits for 7:30 pm tonight*

aha, here's something i haven't discussed: Bettman vs. Balsille. seriously, screw Gary Bettman. why the hell is he fighting so hard to keep a team in Pheonix? it's a fricken DESERT. it may be canadian bias, but my personal opinion is that hockey and desert do NOT mix. if there ain't snow, then hockey won't show XD. while southern ontario is a ripe hockey environnement, i think maybe Pheonix shoulld go back to Winnipeg, where they rightfully belong. i still don't know why the jets were moved in the first place. -.- americans aren't interested, Gary, stop forcing them!

and i just realised that i spent 8 paragraphs talking about hockey o.o and i will be writing some more, because i still have to yap about the IIHF world chamionships that are actually going on as i speak.

the other day, in between periods of the PenCap game actually, i went out and sat on the porch with my mom, because it was such a nice evening. anyways, there's this girl who lives on my street, and she thinks she's little ms. perfect. we all know one. anyways, her parents spoil her to no end, which is probably partly why she thinks she is god's gift to the earth. her dad just got her a moped, for some bizarre reason. so, my mom and i were sitting on the porch, chatting, looking at my neighbours and all that, then all of a sudden, the girl and her dad go whizzing by on her brand new moped, perfect posture, nose up in the air, faces squished up like they'd eaten something sour. they looked like to poster family for insanity. never in my life have i laughed so loudly, and so hard. :P

nothing really happened today, besides Karlie coming to Ottawa, and one of my friends Kathryn gettong back from Flo Rida. a rather slow day, actually. we had this creeper of a teacher for history. he was subbing for Ledick (not his real name XD) and i swear to god, he looked like a fish. he stood literally with his legs played out like fins, and he had really creepy, bulgey eyes. his hair was even gelled to look like gills. o.o and it was scary, because i had him a few times last year, and out of everyone in the class, he remembered who i was. he tried starting up a conversation. it was really awkward. he looks like a pedo. he kept walking around the room during silent work, just lurking and watching. i swear, he's gonna stalk me now XD

WORLDS::

-russia beat the US. they are now in the gold medal game :) *RUSSE!*

-canada vs. sweden is currently going on, and just when i write sweden off, they score. the score is now 3-1. so, go go sweden. naw, i don't really cheer for canada, my own country, because everyone knows they ARE the hockey country, no matter what the russians or swedish try to say. (and they always get a medal. so i'm satisfied)

ok, done talking about the worlds. i only like the JUNIORS. and i don't like european ice. it makes everything look slower.

well, i probably should write off, i feel like such a loser, hunched over my keyboard, aynonomously typing a bunch of crap about hockey.

ajö! <3

(that's swedish for 'bye' in case you haven't figured it out :P)
